I am a designer and web programmer, who has been using computers since the days of the Commodore 64 and Apple //. My skills and specialties include web design, print design, package design, identity design, effective logo creation, illustration, photography, and type design. I have served as a system administrator, managing the day to day computer operations for a publishing company. Additionally, I can write technical and how-to manuals, documentation, and pretty much anything else.

More than twenty years in front of a computer screen has left me with a good understanding of technology, and how it can best be used to achieve the goals set by a project. I believe in using web standard for projects and rarely leap at the latest and greatest technology, unless it adds something of value to the project.

My projects emphasize not only aesthetics, but usability. In order for your message to get out there, people have to want to read it. Confusing web sites with mystery navigation, printed pieces that look like they were taped together do nothing to transmit your message. Carefully constructed materials and sites do.
