Stretching it out
There’s nothing like being woken up at 3:00am by a calf muscle that’s just starting to cramp. It really lets you know that you’re alive and your muscles are WORKING! Fortunately, I was able to stretch the cramp into submission and the leg calmed right on down. I was able to get back to sleep easily enough.
This is a rare occurrence, so I’m not worried about it happening. In fact, it was ncie to have the mid-sleep reminder that yep, I’m alive.
I get these little reminders all the time. Even my hand cramps!
I keep a little vial of massage oil by my bed that I make – it has chamomile and cypress oil. Really great for charlie horses and muscle cramps! 🙂
You’re right, though – it’s nice to be alive! 🙂

I REALLY hate those. I guess I am not drinking enough water, or not eating bananas. Either way, it hurts the next day.
