In Santa Fe, of course. I didn’t get to meet the bartender at El Farol, but this was one of the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly balanced. The Flamenco Dancing show after dinner was equally amazing.

Another night in Colorado

Homemade this time

I so enjoyed the Manhattan I had at Mercury Cafe a few weeks ago, I got the necessary vermouth and bitters last weekend. Tonight I mixed them all up and made one at the house. That’s what you see above. Damn, it’s tasty, although I did forget the cherries. Next time…

… that is a Breckenridge Bourbon Manhattan served at Mercury Cafe. And yes, it has a rose petal in it. And yes, it’s a delicious as it sounds. We had a great time celebrating Sheri’s birthday tonight. If you’ve never been to Mercury Cafe, you owe yourself a visit.
